Living as an adult in the City of the Angels, the palm trees, beaches and technicolour sunsets familiar from TV, movies and advertising, are now familiar features in the landscape of the artist’s day to day existence.
View From My Window pays tribute to this, making a hero out of the huge red neon sign advertising Emser Tile, against a backdrop of palm trees and a glorious yellow and pink twilight sky. View From My Window is printed on fabric and mounted on a light box, giving the effect of a large advertising billboard, typical of LA.
